Nova Scotia Sunset

While this sky may appear to be out of the ordinary, too intense, or too exaggerated, it is actually representative of the big skies and color so often appreciated all over the Northeast. Backlit by the setting sun and reflecting the atmosphere's strata, the colors both blend, become defuse in the water reflections, and have clean edges where the cloud cover is thickest.
